By selecting "I Agree" you are accepting the following rules and terms of use of the Snailrace website and videogame. These rules apply to the entire website, including, but not limited in, the source code of the game server engine, the database structure, the website and the graphic artwork in its entirety.

1. Source code hacking

The user hereby agrees that he will never, either accidentally or voluntarily, steal, reverse engineer, modify or reuse any of the game files for his own personal benefit, commercial or personal.
The graphics on this site are an original artwork and therefore protected by the law in force by copyright, intellectual property and international agreements.
The user agrees not to reproduce any of the graphics, entirely or partially, without a written permission submitted by Snailrace.org administration staff.
The user agrees, moreover, that all the electronic and physic material that constitutes the SnailRace game is propery of the Snailrace.org administration staff.
Any violation of the above rules will be prosecuted according to both Italian and International software copyright laws in force, in addition to the immediate account disruption.

2. Game hacking

The user agrees that he shall never try to get any advantage over other users by using any game flaw (by now referred as "software bug"). These bugs include, but are not limited in:

  • any server problem causing a user to get a sistemathic advantage by volountarily inducting the flaw to happen.
  • any website bug that enables a user to get a sistemathic advantage by volountarily inducting the flaw to happen.

The user agrees moreover to rapidly warn the SnailRace staff about the bug in order to help them solve it as soon as possible.

Any doubt about any in-game procedure that appears to be advantaging a user over the others must be immediatly discussed with the SnailRace staff, and will not, in any case but those of proved bug-abusing, bring any consequence to the user reporting it.

Any violation of the above rules will result in the account disruption. The SnailRace staff takes full freedom to examine each case on its own, and discuss any further prosecution or re-admission to the game where needed.
On the other side, the SnailRace staff will consider any user helping the staff and the game for possible custom in-game gifts (e.g.: graphics enhancements to his/her in-game character). Anyway, these gifts are not mandatory and each situation will be evaluated on its own.

3. SnailRace staff duties

The SnailRace staff agrees to:

  • Keep any personal user data stored in the SnailRace servers for its own and only use. This data will not and never be released to any third party organization for any use, including commercial distribution. The data will be stored accordingly to the privacy laws in force, both Italian and International.
  • Moderate the game, taking freedom to ban from the game any user behaving in any way that can offend any Cultural, Religious or Political Istitution or community. Any racial or offensive attack from any user to another will not be tolerated neither discussed for clemence. Any user that is being harassed or offended MUST report immediatly to the SnailRace staff and, in NO CASE respond to the offenses, causing him/her to become guilty as well.

The SnailRace staff agrees to notify any modification to these rules in the "Homepage" of the SnailRace site.
